Sandra E. Wessinger 

Founder

Sandra from Illinois, United States is a humanist, traveling the world to do the most good possible. Her love for people and their potential brought her NLO as one of the founders. Previously, Weissinger mentored students and faculty as a professor of sociology. She worked in various communities on projects of women's empowerment, childhood literacy, well-being and community health initiatives. 


Lekoko  K. Ngotieki

Co-Founder

Lekoko is from Arusha, Tanzania and is a dedicated individual whose life's work has been devoted to making a positive impact on the world through charity work. His work includes education, women empowerment and expertise in climate change. Driven by a deep sense of empathy and desire to alleviate the suffering of those less fortunate. Lekoko has dedicated countless hours to various charitable work since 2019. His humanitarian efforts have touched the lives of many, providing essential resorces, support, and hope to those in need. Lekoko has worked tirelessly to address issues such as poverty, hunger, healthcare access, education, housing improvement and water storage, with a mission to bring about positive change in the lives of the underserved. 


Felix Mollel

Felix is a remarkable Tour guiding driver and the proud owner of the locally owned Safari company, Nature & Culture Experience. Born into the Maasai tribe in Tanzania, Felix's upbringing in the plains of his homeland played a significant role in shaping his love for nature and his deep-rooted connection to his cultural heritage.

Lekoko (co-founder) and Felix have been friends for many years. Felix's connection as a Maasai helps him understand the struggle of growing up in such a community. Through his work as a safari guide he interacts with people from around the world. He hopes to bring his connections to NLO and raise awareness for the needy in Tanzania.

Linnaea Crawshaw

Operations Manager

Linnaea is from Vancouver Island, Canada and came to Tanzania for the first time in 2023. She instantly fell in love with the culture and being involved with projects to help the needy. She is a biomedical science student in Canada and hopes to bring her experience back to Tanzania one day. Due to her personal connection to the organization from her stay in Arusha, she will assist from afar with fundraising, social media and logistics. 

Margo Salmon

Board Member

Margo is a regular visitor in East Africa. She has seen first hand the need of many people in remote areas. Margo is a retired manager of a large business in Australia and understands it takes team work to improve the circumstances of the needy. We value her skills and input and are excited to have her on the team.
